Founded by an electrician with a practical farming background, Equinox Contracts was built specifically to service heavy-duty rural infrastructure. We blend three-phase industrial compliance with a genuine, firsthand understanding of how a working farm operates. ## Why Equinox Exists We started this business because we saw a gap between "domestic" electricians and the reality of a working farm. Most contractors turn up in trainers, leave gates open, and aren’t prepared for the cold, demanding environment of a cattle shed or a grain silo. More importantly, many don't understand that on a farm, downtime isn't just an inconvenience it’s a loss. When a grain dryer fails or a feeding system goes down, you don't need someone who follows a standard manual; you need an engineer who can think outside the box to get the job done safely and quickly. ## Why Choose Equinox #### Hazardous Area Specialists We are trained to work in potentially explosive atmospheres (DSEAR/ATEX), ensuring your grain stores and milling facilities meet the highest insurance and safety standards. Hazardous Area Specialists #### Problem Solvers We specialise in the "difficult" jobs—the ones that require grit, technical expertise, and an understanding of the corrosive, dusty, and high-pressure environments that define Yorkshire farming. Problem Solvers #### NICEIC Approved Contractor We hold the industry’s "Gold Standard" accreditation, meaning we are qualified to handle heavy-duty three-phase systems and complex industrial infrastructure. NICEIC Approved Contractor #### Technical Excellence With over 15 years in the electrical trade, we’ve built Equinox to be the definitive engineering partner for the rural North. Technical Excellence ### The Equinox Promise We speak your language. We understand your pressures. And we always close the gate. **It is about responsibility.** Equinox Contracts is NICEIC-accredited and works in line with current UK electrical regulations. We approach every project with a structured process, ensuring that work is delivered correctly and documented appropriately. ## Need a Reliable Agricultural Electrical Contractor?
